Create a shortcut for NRBC on my phone
You don’t need to download an app to use the National Racquetball Club on your phone.
You can put NRBC right on your home screen so it behaves almost exactly like an app:
Tap the NRBC icon on your home screen
Go straight to the club website
Stay signed in on your phone (with Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint, if you’ve enabled it)
Below are quick steps for iPhone/iPad and Android.
==================================================================
🍏 On iPhone / iPad (Safari)
Open the Safari browser on your iPhone or iPad.
Go to the NRBC website and log in to your account.
At the bottom (or top) of the screen, tap the Share button
– it looks like a square with an arrow pointing up.
Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen.”
You’ll see a name for the icon (you can change it to “NRBC” or “Racquetball Club” if you’d like).
Tap Add in the top-right corner.
You’ll now see an NRBC icon on your home screen, just like a normal app.
Staying signed in on iPhone
The first time you log in, Safari may ask if you want to Save Password to iCloud Keychain.
If you tap Save, your iPhone can:
Fill your email and password for you, or
Use Face ID / Touch ID to log you in quickly.
As long as you chose to stay signed in and don’t log out manually, you can usually just tap the icon and go straight into NRBC.
==================================================================
🤖 On Android (Chrome)
Open the Chrome browser on your Android phone.
Go to the NRBC website and log in to your account.
Tap the three dots menu in the top-right corner.
Tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app” (wording can vary by phone).
Choose a name for the icon if you want (for example, “NRBC”).
Tap Add or Install and confirm when your phone asks where to place the icon.
You’ll now see an NRBC icon on your home screen or in your apps list.
Setting up a Match Request
From the "Members" navigation at the top left, click on "Match Request"
A new form will open. The 3 radio buttons allow you to choose the distance from your address to find a location. Choose 10 - 20 - 30 miles depending on your local.
Ensure you add a date and time so that others can be notified. Members who have opted in for text messages will get notification of your request and can then respond.
